Jeff Webb Varsity Brands has contributed significantly to various industries as a seasoned entrepreneur, author, and business leader. He serves as the senior news editor of Human Events, a prominent Washington, D.C.-based news and analysis website. Founded in 1944 as a print newspaper, Human Events transitioned to a digital-only publication in 2013. Webb joined the website as its senior news editor in 2020 and co-publishes it with executive opinion editor Will Chamberlain.

 

In addition to his work with Human Events, Webb is the founder and former CEO of Varsity Spirit, a global leader in cheerleading, dance teams, and performing arts innovation. Varsity Spirit is now a part of Varsity Brands' parent company. More than a million athletes interact with the organization annually through educational camps, competitions, and other events. Webb served as Varsity Brands' CEO until 2018 and remained chairman until 2020.

 

Webb left Varsity Brands to focus on other endeavors, including his role as the president of the International Cheer Union, where he has played a pivotal role in advancing the sport of cheerleading. He also spearheaded Human Events' takeover of the Canadian online news magazine, The Post Millennial, in 2022.
